• Cause radio blackout thorugh changing the ionosphere (From Atmosphere to Space)
• X-ray and EUV emissions, lasting minutes to hours
• Affects radio communications, GPS
• Contribute to Solar Energetic Particles (SEP) -> proton radiation, lasting a couple of days
